Rel Acoustics at Acoustic Streams

​A special thank you to Rob from REL Acoustics for visiting us yesterday and sharing his incredible knowledge about REL subwoofers and integrating them into systems from entry level to hi-end. An eye-opening process to say the least; with a meticulous approach to setting up REL subwoofers the results that can be achieved are quite stunning!

We spent time rigging REL’s Series S/812 Subwoofer to a few different systems; Exposure 3010S2D Integrated with Graham Audio’s Chartwell LS6/f Loudspeakers, T+A MP 3100 HV Multi Source SACD-Player & PA 3100 HV Integrated with Vimberg Amea Loudspeakers, and even a classic Naim Olive system with Naim Ovator S-600 Loudspeakers for good fun. Each system gained a significant performance boost, not just in the lower frequencies as you might expect, but across the board!

We also got a chance to hear REL’s latest release, The Carbon Special. An amazing subwoofer that pretty much blew us all away! We’ve got the new Series T/x Subwoofers on order, if you haven’t heard what a REL subwoofer can do for your system then please do reach out!
