T+A Event - 11th December

On the 11th of December, alongside Kog audio, we will be hosting an event dedicated to renowned German audio brand T+A, and British cabling company Tellurium Q.

T+A manufacture a comprehensive range of high-performance products, including all-in-one systems, separates, loudspeakers and headphones with a focus on solid build quality and exceptional sound quality.

Tellurium Q have an exquisite range of interconnects and cables; all manufactured here in the UK to the highest standards.
This exclusive event will be split into 4 intimate sessions throughout the day, and each will offer a closer look at T+A’s latest innovations, beginning with an introduction to the company — its heritage, philosophy, and dedication to exceptional sound.

This will be followed by a chance to see some of the equipment and hear your pick of music with live demonstrations of the recently released T+A Symphonia all-in-one system and the upgraded Talis S 330 Floorstanding speakers.

T+A have poured their design and engineering heritage into the Symphonia to create a sleek one box solution delivering their trademark sound that wins us over time and time again. Paired with Tellurium Q’s high-quality cabling, this demo system will be well worth a listen if you’re looking to upgrade or curious about what high end Hi-Fi has to offer.

Once again a pleasurable visit to Acoustic Streams, to enjoy the excellent demonstration facilities, excellent hospitality (tea and a luxury mince pie), and a professional demonstration by a young man with a moderate knowledge of the products.
I came to the demo following an hour or so with Kef LS50 Metas driven by an Arcam A15 connected with pure solid silver cable. The T+A speakers sounded thick, in need of transparency and a more cohesive sound stage (the speakers sounded at times like a collection of speaker units). Obvious cabinet resonances coloured the mid range in the louder passages (readily detectable after very many years listening to BBC thin wall, Baltic Birch ply cabinets). Never the less, the finish and craftsmanship were top class.
A special thanks to Michael of Acoustic Streams (there is nothing better than hearing the products "in the flesh"). I, and my hi-fi friend wish Acoustic Streams every success in 2026.

Once again a very war welcome at A S with a cup of tea and mince pie as well. The demonstration room is excellent and the choice of music up to the listener… not always the case in some outlets!
The T+A speakers with 4 units made an impressive showing as did the general structure.
I found the sound similarly impressive but to my ears muddled in the mid range area.
The hour spent was both entertaining and instructive and lived up our usual A S high standard.
I wish the company a profitable 2026.
